Fainting goats have more fun

I came to Heritage Haven with my brother, Tom. We are fainting goats, which means that when we are frightened, our muscles tense up and make our bodies stiff. The level of fright or surprise determines the level of stiffness that we feel.

Sometimes we get so scared stiff that we fall over. It can take up to 20 seconds for our muscles to relax after a fright. Also, while most goats love jumping, fainting goats do not jump very high because high jumps can frighten us and cause us to faint!
